Project Description
During this project, we worked on 1,500 square feet of wide white pine floors. The one- to two-foot-wide boards had warped, every room contained nails that needed to be set, and much of the flooring was covered with an oil finish. One room also required a board repair and a border around the fireplace. Over several days, we set the nails, removed the old finish, and carefully smoothed the floors to reveal the white pine. We then stained the wood and applied three coats of water-based finish.
